Dippy collects data, obviously provided to us by you. We process these based on your explicit consent. Consider:

– Data about when you contacted Dippy
We also collect analytical data for to better understand how we can further improve our services. You leave this information on our channels, such as:
– Account registration / time stamps
– When you visit our website
– Social media data, such as hashtags, posts, credentials, when you have tagged or named our brand, etc.

– Your actions and responses to our marketing campaigns
– Other activity on our website
So to best serve you, we ask for your information.
Name and address:
Of course, so we know to whom to address the sets of Dippys and to what address they should be delivered.
Phone number:
Your phone number is important so we can provide you with important information regarding your payment. This is as an extra service, should you have overlooked our emails.
Date of birth:
We use your date of birth so that we know if you are 18 years of age or older and thus meet our age requirement for membership.
E-mail and IBAN:
We use your email address to send personalized emails and online campaigns. In addition, we use your e-mail address and IBAN to prevent fraud. These two items are checked when creating an account.
Bank information and payments:
We process the name and bank account number of the person who placed an order via bank transfer to process the order. With this information, we understand that someone has become a member and is expecting the set of Dippys.
Account logs:
So that we can keep changes you make to your account. This allows us to see when you have changed your size or an address change has been made. We need this information so that we can provide you with the best possible service. For example, if your set of Dippys was not received at the new address after a change of address, you may have made your change just too late. We can look through the logs with you and provide an appropriate solution.
Whatsapp messages and tags on social media:
We monitor messages accessible to anyone on the Internet that are about Dippy and reply to messages addressed to Dippy. As a result, everyone gets their question answered and common questions are addressed in our frequently asked questions. We strive to be as clear as possible about our concept and answer possible questions as quickly as possible.
Other dates:
Data that you leave directly, or indirectly on our website, such as website cookies, or a started registration for a membership.
How long do we keep your data?
We process most of the data in the Netherlands, where our headquarters are located. For tax reasons, we keep data necessary for the tax authorities for up to five years.
We do not retain marketing data for more than 5 years. We review our systems every 2 years and delete emails and related accounts that have been inactive for more than 3 years, regardless of whether our marketing emails are received. This means that if you want to remain a member Dippy, you will have to re-enter this information.
We keep anonymous analytical data for as long as we think we need it to optimize our systems and products. Because this data is anonymous, and identity cannot be traced, we do not need your permission for this.
With whom do we share your data?
We have never sold and will never sell your data to third parties.
However, we do share your information with a number of third-party partners so that we can provide you with the Dippys, and improve our service and products. When we share this data, we ensure that all parties assure us that they are also optimally protecting your data with the technical and organizational security measures required by law. Before sharing your data, we assess what data we need to share with our partners to ensure that no unnecessary personal data is shared.
We share your information with the bank.
We share your first name, last name and IBAN with our bank, KNAB, so that the monthly debit is made to the correct person. Naturally, this is handled with care and KNAB will not use your data for third parties. Therefore, it is only possible to change your bank details online, so that we can be sure that the new bank details are yours. But should you have any problems with this, please contact us, of course, so we can personally help you find a safe solution.
We share your data with our website creators.
We share with our website creators, Heabb, your first name, last name and mail address so that we can provide good service, receive their support, send a personal email to the correct email address. In addition, we use this data for sending personalized offers or for a promotional campaign of Dippy. Heabb has assured us that they will not share your data, but we encourage you to read Heabb’s privacy terms to learn more about how they process your data.
We share your details with our partner PostNL so that your Dippys arrive on your doormat as quickly as possible.
We notify PostNL of your first name, last name and address so they know the address to which your Dippys should be delivered. We refer to PostNL’s privacy terms and conditions for more information on how PostNL processes your data.
What are your rights regarding our privacy policy
You can always contact us to:
– access your data, and request a copy to see what data is being processed about you, with whom it is shared, and for how long it is kept.
– request us to correct your information. If you find that we have incorrect information about you, please contact us to complete or correct the information that you believe is incomplete or incorrect.
– object to us using your data, or request us to “forget” you. Although we will hate to see you leave, you may always ask us to remove your data. If possible, we will comply, however, this is not always the case. If we need to comply with legal obligations of government agencies that require us to retain certain data or for public health reasons; for instituting, exercising or defending legal requests from national authorities, we may not be able to forget you completely yet.
