Dippys are made locally in social facilities in the Netherlands, by people with intellectual disabilities. Each candle is hand-dipped with love and ensures inclusiveness of the employees.
Dippys are made of the natural material stearin and the wick is 100% cotton. Therefore, we use fewer fossil resources and are not only socially sustainable, but also naturally sustainable.
We recommend burning up the candle within a month, observing the safety and burning instructions.
To prevent fire and injury, burn candles in plain sight. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle on or near anything that could catch fire or be damaged, always leave at least 10 cm between burning candles.
Trim the wick to 5 mm before lightning. Keep the candle free of foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings. Burn the candle only on a flat, refractory surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop using when only 0.5 inch remains.
Since Dippys are dipped by hand, the candles may drip. So always put something under the candle to protect the surface. See also the Terms and Conditions.
